Along with fall comes a new set of demands placed on vehicles. Inspect Your Tires
Because you probably did a lot of long distance driving this summer, it’s a good idea to check your tires. As you inspect your tires, check the tire pressure using a tire pressure gauge. The recommended air pressure for your tires is usually listed on a sticker on the foot step or in the space where your door seals when closed. If you notice a tire loses pressure quickly after being filled, there is likely a small hole, that, if left in disrepair, may lead to costly repairs down the road. Additionally, check for signs of wear and tear. Does the tread look worn out and frayed? If so, take your vehicle in for a tire rotation, repair, or to get a new set installed.
Inspect Your Auto Glass
There’s nothing worse than having a windshield that is full of tiny, micro-sized chips, large chips, cracks, and worst of all, long, obtrusive cracks that run across the length of the windshield. Not only is it unsightly to look at, a damaged windshield is dangerous because it can inhibit a driver’s vision. What’s more, as colder temperatures settle in along the Front Range, the change in temperature may cause a crack or chip in your windshield to get worse, especially when the temperatures reach freezing.
